IK Pendulum Impact Tester
Prepare: Mount luminaire; power on to verify operation. Select: Choose hammer & head per IK grade (e.g., 5J for IK08, 20J for IK10). Mount: Secure sample; align test point with impact path. Set: Raise pendulum to required energy angle. Impact: Release pendulum to strike sample. Inspect: Visual: Check for damage/deformation. Functional: Verify operation; check electrical faults. Repeat: Test multiple sample areas.
Salt Spray Test
Salt spray testing evaluates an LED's corrosion resistance by simulating harsh saline environments to assess its durability and protective coatings.
Waterproof Test
LED waterproof testing evaluates the fixture’s ability to resist water under conditions corresponding to its IP rating (e.g., IP65, IP67), using methods such as water spray, partial or complete immersion, to confirm there is no moisture ingress affecting performance or safety.
IES Test
An integrating sphere captures and diffuses an LED's total light output to precisely measure its photometric (e.g., lumens, efficacy) and colorimetric (e.g., CCT, CRI) data.
Final Quality Control
Aging testing evaluates and ensures product lifespan and performance. This process involves simulating real-world conditions through prolonged operation to measure key metrics like luminous flux decay, color shift, and failure rate. It also identifies potential issues such as driver failures or poor thermal management, reducing defect rates and improving overall quality.
